Stops along the way back to Thailand

We made a couple stops along the way back to Thailand. Our first was at a Monks village. Pastor Chhin wanted to show us something from when Polpot was ruler. It was a building full of bones that stands in memory of all those he ordered to be murdered. It is said that he ordered the deaths of over 2 million people. We talked about the movie "The Killing Fields" and how it showed the ruthlessness of one man and how he could control so many.

 

 

On this same property there was this beautiful temple.
