First day in Bangkok

We go into our guest house a little before 1 a.m., which is 8 a.m. Yesterday for you all. Once my head hit the pillow I was gone. We woke up at 6 a.m. We some down for our first breakfast .... Here it is.

The top pic is of poached eggs and a noodle dish, yay for eggs and the noodles were quite good

The second dish we thought was yams but it was papaya - also good, Pat didn't eat any - too healthy for him

The 3rd pic was the scariest of all. The green stuff with the brown stuff .... That's what I called it. I smelled it first because that's what I do and it's Ellen wonderful. That made tasting it easier. I'm not sure what the green things were but the other was ground chicken. As Rachel Ray would say YUM-O. The last ing on my plate was the egg section. Pat popped this into his mouth and said it was super salty, I did take a t sat and said that's enough for me! The coffee was weak but good.

It's going to to be quite muggy today but I don't care. I'm in a t-shirt and shorts and I'm happy!
