Siem Reap/Angkor Wat

Pat and I woke up early this morning. We went to the night market last night. There were all kinds of souvenirs there. Everyone wanted to make a deal. Pat wanted some head phones, Beats by Dr Dre, only $18 ... But for you, only $18.

We were so surprised at how touristy it is here. The hotels were all lit up with lights and Chin said one hotel was $700 a night. So beautiful. The difference between Cambodia and Thailand is huge. The costs in Cambodia are almost double of Thailand's. The people are so sweet and welcoming. Our server, Sucrets, tries to talk with us in English. He's 18 .... And that's all I know. :)

This was my breakfast this morning. The little dish is pickled veggies, good but there was some ginger in it - nasty.

It took us 5 minutes to get to Angkor Wat. How amazing! Below is what we saw when we headed in. This just the entrance.

This is the first Buddha we see when we go in. There are usually people there trying to give you incense to put into the containers. If you take them then they want you to goe hem money.
